Trowbridge Stanza Proudly Present our First Anthology!

I’m so delighted with this, my first editing credit. Looking Up – Poems of Hope and Humanity is an anthology of work by the poets of Trowbridge Poetry Stanza, put together to raise money for Dorothy House Hospice Care. It also showcases the talents of our super-friendly monthly writing group.

The poems in Looking Up are deliberately upbeat, in honour of the positivity shown every day by the team at Dorothy House, who every year support thousands of people in our community who have a life-limiting diagnosis. There are poems of joy and reflection, of peace and, of course, humour.

If we do say so ourselves, we think this book makes a gorgeous gift! It’s available for £9.99 + £2 P&P. We already covered our printing costs, thanks to all the kind people who pre-ordered, so every penny now goes to Dorothy House. Contact me for payment details!

Did Someone Mention the Elephant in the Room?

I’m chuffed as nuts to announce that I’ll be special guest at the inaugural Elephant in the Room Spoken Word event. Hosted by Poetry Pros and All Round Superstars Barbara Kirbyshaw, Emma Clowsley and S Reeson, it’s a new online spoken word night which doesn’t just talk, it blimmin trumpets.

I’ll be reading a whole bunch of weird, wonderful and surprising poems, including some sneak peak poems from my forthcoming book Kiss Chase with Darwin, which will be published by Broken Sleep later in the year!

Elephant in the Room is on January 27th at 7.30pm on Zoom. Come on, what else are you doing on a Tuesday night in January?!
